"Virgin" Cores. Only a First Generation toner cartridge core and new components are utilized to produce a TonerVision compatible cartridge.
Pre-Production Testing. After reclamation, all cartridges are pre-tested to ensure quality standards. All components are replaced for maximum reliability.
Post-Production Testing. We rigorously test every toner cartridge prior to shipment. First, we run several preliminary pages. Secondly, we print up to ten pages of text. Third, we print five pages of solid black. Finally, we print up ten pages of solid white. All cartridges must pass these tests before shipment.
Quality Control. Every toner cartridge is built by hand from start to finish by a trained technician. Unlike an assembly line process where there is a lack of accountability, every TonerVision toner cartridge bears the technician's "signature." Any deviation in quality of our manufacturing process is traced and corrected immediately.
New Long-Life OPC Drum. The drum is a critical component of a toner cartridge. Some manufacturers may reuse a drum cartridge multiple times, at TonerVision a new Long-Life OPC Drum is installed in every toner cartridge.
Quality Ink. A single, sterile pre-measured bottle of toner is used for each cartridge. Using bottled toner dramatically reduces the risk of contamination by dirt or dust particles thus eliminating any "globbing" effects or uneven areas of black on your printouts. Our toner has a resolution factor compatible with your printer output: 600dpi and 1200dpi to equal or the print quality of OEM cartridges.
Industry Benchmarks. We have developed and perfected the technology to allow our Lexmark Optra S compatible cartridge to safely, effectively and consistently print out 25,000 pages per cartridge. The OEM version of this cartridge only prints 17,600 pages.

Superior Sealing Techniques. We only use cartridge seals when required for shipping. Many cartridges will not leak during shipping and do not require a seal. Hewlett Packard is currently manufacturing OEM cartridges without seals. On the cartridges that require a seal, we use an OEM-type seal that is applied onto the cartridge in a unique fashion. This process is very gentle and does not require “splitting the hopper”. “Splitting the hopper” is a process commonly used in the toner remanufacturing industry. The cartridge is split so a seal can be installed. Since plastic is a polymer and is elastic by nature, splitting damages the integrity of the cartridge and can cause leaking.
A remanufactured cartridge is a cartridge that has been disassembled and its worn parts replaced. The cartridge then receives a new print head, is refilled with ink, and is tested in the factory to guarantee print quality. It is basically the recycling of an empty cartridge. Remanufacturing is considered more comprehensive than recharging or refilling. Your printer's print head cleaning utility (described in your printer's operating manual) should always be run 1-2 times after inserting a remanufactured cartridge.
